My six (6) Travel MUST HAVEs

We all have our own list of TRAVEL MUST HAVEs!

Mine are six (6) travel must haves that I believed to be truly important. Setting aside the basics such as passport, ticket, cash or cards – this list is merely an effect of my past travels which made me realize how useful and significant these items are to me. I won’t make it long, here are my must haves:

1. Wet tissue & Tissue

Kokobear and I have travelled Tagaytay, Palawan & Bohol in 2015 and in between I found myself forgetting these 2. I know, you’d tell me its a mortal sin to forget this and so its on my top list.

2. Hat/cap

In Sri Lanka, we went on a river Safari and our schedule happens to be at 12:00 high noon! Protecting our skin most especially our face is a must! Of course I wore one. Such a great help and protection for sunburn!

3. Nail cutter

Rarely I’d think of bringing this. In our stop over in Singapore back in 2012, there is that need to cut nails or that extra strand of skin beside our nails that bothers me. Bet you experienced it as well that you try to bite it just to get rid of that. :)

4. Sanitizer/alcohol

Well, there is no need to explain – this is useful at all times such as before eating or wanna feel fresh after a long walk or hike. Sanitize and avoid germs with these items.

5. Extra cash as tip

Yes, its true that we have cash on hand, but it will be better to have them separately and be ready to hand them in especially when you truly appreciate the service. At times we are confronted with straight forward tour guides who asks for it directly. We had such experience in one of our trips. We gave this amount and the guide refused to accept it because it was not enough. So better have an extra pocket for it.

6. Candies/chocolates/bubble gum

Some itinerary “call times” are too early, leaving us with no breakfast. So a candy or chocolate at hand will be a great help to at least get some energy. After meal, that oily taste that stays in our palate will vanish with the help of a gum or candy.

Yes, I know that there are more seasoned globe trotter than I do. But for sure we all have our MUST HAVEs list! Mine just happened to be these six based on my personal experiences. As for me, these have made my travel days awesome, easier and comfy!

How about you? What’s on your bag?

God bless,
