Vietnam is one of the many places that belongs to my bucket list for the ASEAN countries…

As of today, it remains on that list and someday I’ll get the opportunity to get a glance of this place also known as the Land of Hope & Prosperity and/or Land of the Blue Dragon! Even though I haven’t visited this country yet, a few of my friends have been staying in VN for a while, that is why in this blog post, I’m sharing you their “MUST VISIT spots/places/activities in Vietnam”.

But before that, if you are visiting this beautiful country soon and will be needing a visa, look no further, Vietnam-VisaOnline.org offers a 10% Off on your visa application using the below promo code exclusive for #InMyHeartJMKayne♥ readers like you! :)

Now, here are my friends’ recommendations in Vietnam!
This is in Halong Bay!                                                            While this one is in Ba Na Hill.

Cha-Cha is a friend and a college classmate who has been teaching English in VN for 6 years now. Her recommendations are  Ba Na Hill ( Da Nang), Halong Bay, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Da Lat, Hue.

Check out ChaCha’s Instagram, her handle is @cha_candace.

Tito Benjie, our CFC-FFL Country Coordinator (UAE) has served in Vietnam and he said:

“If you appreciate God’s nature you will love these 3 places:”

  • Halong Bay,
  • Phong Nha-Ke Nang National Park
  • and Dalat.

Top: They’re on the way for a boating trip. | Below Left: Da-lat | Center: Halong Bay | Right: In one of the coffee shops in VN.

A fellow GEOS Angel, Joy is in BMT City (Buon Ma Thout) in Vietnam since 2014 and aside from the beautiful spots, BMT city is the home of their coffee products! What she enjoys most, are the trips she had with her fellow teachers and friends… Her top 2 must try resto/cafe and a province to visit are the following:

  • Trung Nguyen Coffee shop/ resto (Most famous in BMT City with a great view)
  • Small food stalls for Authentic Vietnamese Food found around the city. (It is created to give you a homey-feels)
  • Daklak Province– riding elephants, visit waterfalls and city tour for sightseeing.

  • The local Puppet Show
  • Bui Vien (Famous Backpacker street in Saigon) and
  • Mekong River Cruise
