    Taxi

TAXI Today is a long day, OT and a very loaded, stressful week for me. After work I headed to a restaurant to fill my hunger tummy and regenerate energy. Taxi was rare, I waited for some time – some overtake and took the cab which should be mine. But I stay calm and finally it arrived. Me: Hamdan boss Driver: Where exactly… I gave the location but he didn’t know. So I asked: Me: Are you new? Driver: Yes. Yes in Abu Dhabi but not in the UAE. So I told him to drive to Hamdan & I will teach him where the location is. In a minute; he…

Meeting place at Eve’s once again, then headed to another Ferry site going to Chaya Island. This time we have a 12-seater speed boat! We had a bumpy & fun ride as the speed boat maneuver into the sea jumping/leaping into big waves. I can hear my tourist-mate enjoying the ride… with Ohhhh~~~ woooow~~~ Oppsss… water splashing in and out! It took us 15-20 minutes to land Chaya’s dock. We were greeted with a very nice view – a pre-entrance view and a…

CROSS: The Sign of our FAITH

CROSS: The Sign of our FAITH In Ancient Greek, a sign is known to be a mark of ownership. Thus doing the sign means we are letting yourself to be owned by God. A seal we that we acknowledge being a warrior of Christ. This sign in itself is already a prayer. Doing the sign means we open ourselves to God’s grace. Alma Mater

Reading and singing it on my head reminds me so much of the 4 years that I’ve spent in this school. I credit all I’ve learned about teaching and loving this passion to all teachers/professors, friends and students that I have encountered from 2001 – 2005.  This is a memory; like that of a familiar scent that brings back beautiful recollections of the college/university life. Indeed beautiful and unforgettable. Like many of us, we somehow kept those stories behind our mind but once reminded by a song, a photo perhaps, our heart jumps in happiness… realizing that somewhere in our past – an encounter like this happened. Above is the…
